Our History

Servicing our customers since 1930

Joseph DeLora, Sr. took a risk in 1930, during the heart of the

depression, to open up a high-quality dry cleaner. Today, 90 years later, our reputation as a quality dry cleaner still holds true. Our objective has always been to maintain your wardrobe by tending to every detail in order to make you look and feel your very best. DeLuxe Cleaners has a staff of 35 individuals who all work towards this objective.

We offer an array of services beginning with an impeccable dry cleaning and shirt laundry service, shoe/boot shine and repair service, alterations, tailoring, wash and fold, wedding gown restoration and preservation,

linens, household items, garment storage, fur and shearling cold storage, tuxedo rentals and sales, and so much more.

We also offer a Free Pick-Up and Delivery service to over 40 cities in Northern New Jersey. In addition we also offer an After Hours "Free" Pick-Up and delivery service to all Clifton residents three nights per week free of charge.

Today, Patrick DeLora, Jr. and his sister Linda DeLora run the family-owned business and are third generation owners. Their father, Patrick F. DeLora, Sr. ran the business with his brother Jim since the time they finished their education. Robert Genuardi runs our Formal Wear Department and has expanded the business to include regular suit rentals and catering attire for many of the largest catering halls in Northern New Jersey.
